Before school

Kadyn has been fighting me on cutting his hair. He says he wants a new hair style. I am not sure what he is going for. Since I don't have anything important going on like family pictures, I will let him think he is winning the battle for now.

I told her she looked like a clown and she gave me this look. She puts her ear muffs on top of her hat. I think its goofy, so I got my camera out to take a picture and she took them off quickly.

I decided to venture out and go to the Children's museum, because it was a free day. Brandyn told me the roads were fine. So I decided to get my big girl panties on and go. I barely got off my street when I almost slid into another car. REALLY!!! I almost turned back around, but Adisyn had her heart set on going. We made it there and back in one piece. I called Brandyn up to chew him out. He said I don't know how you managed that. So he came home and went up and down the street speeding, slamming on his breaks, doing whatever he could to reenact what I did. And of course he didn't slide nothing. He thinks it was all in my head. That is the last time I believe him!

The kids didn't have school because of the snow, so Ashlyn baked a few things on her easy bake oven.

Kadyn makes messes in every room he goes in. He decided playing in his room wasn't good enough so he brought it all the way down stairs.

Karsyn followed along and dumped all his cars out.

I guess good thing it won't stop snowing here. I feel like I haven't left my house in weeks. I have gone to run a couple errands, but other then that we have stayed home. The weather has been horrible. The kids school got cancelled I think twice once for snow and one for ice. Between a ton of snow and potty training these last couple weeks have been uneventful. Karsyn has done really well. Its been 2 weeks and today was his first poop accident.

Potty Training TMI

 Day 1: I woke up and said today is the day! While Karsyn was distracted I went and took all his diapers out of his drawer and stuck them under his bed. He was NOT happy! Total melt down. He marched right in his room and found them. I put him in long shirt and nothing underneath.  I made two charts and said if you fill one up you can pick any toy out. If he filled out the second chart I would take him to Chuck E Cheese. He liked that idea. I hardly ever give my kids pop, so Karsyn was loving it. He drank it super fast and had to pee every 2 minutes. I never had to put him on toilet he went all by himself. He did have a couple accidents on the bathroom floor, but it is better then carpet. He is not a morning person so the first hour is a nightmare.

Day 2: Getting better, still wants diapers on. I told him not till bed time, so pretty much all day he told me he wanted to take a nap.

He goes back and fourth between small toilet and big toilet. I wish he would just pick the big one. I am tired of cleaning out the little one. He thinks he needs to wipe after each time he pees, and so we have gone through a roll already! I guess I can't complain at least he is going!

Day 3: Super star! Still doesn't do well in morning, but no accidents on carpet. Today I started to put him in underwear and he was screaming no underwear. The first pair of underwear was hard to get off in time and had an accident in bathroom. I helped with the second pair and he made it in time. He has been holding his poop, because he doesn't want to poop in toilet. I heard him grunting in bathroom hiding in corner with underwear on...I hurried and stuck him on toilet while kicking and screaming and he went. He got super excited and yelled Hurray I DID it. Let me tell you how excited I was it wasn't in his underwear!!!! I told Karsyn it was bedtime and he went up stairs and brought me his pajamas and nothing else. I said where is your night time diaper. He said, "I don't need diapers I need my big boy underwear!" Really did I just hear that!

Did I mention how much I love potty training. It could be the death of  ME!!!

Home we go

The weather was not good on the way home. We saw a ton of wrecks. There were a couple semi trucks, a few smashed cars and a lot of toe trucks. I 84 was a sheet of ice.

After we got home we needed to wash the car. It was so cold there was icicles on the hoses.

SPEAK OUT

This game was fun to play. It made for some good laughs. The mouth pieces sure do hurt the gums...and a lot of slobber goes along with it.
