Fariwell bend

Our friends from Walla Walla invited us to go boating with them. They drove 3 hours and we drove a hour. When we got there I got my kids already to go, so when they arrived they wouldn't be waiting on us. Laura said, "Hey did you notice anything?" I responded with No what! She said. all the water is gone. I looked and sure enough there wasn't enough water to go boating. The island that we saw is normally covered and the boat ramp is normally filled to the top. The kids weren't disappointed but jumped and ran into the water. I did see the sign that said no swimming by the dock. but since there wasn't enough water for boats I didn't think it was a big deal. About 5 minutes later a park ranger came walking down to the boar dock. I thought he was going to yell at us for swimming near the dock! He said, "Just wanted to make sure you saw the sign about the blue algae. I was like what!!! Out of the 4 adults non of us saw this sign. I made the kids get out immediately. When we walked back to the car we still never saw the sign. anyways... we went back home within 30 minutes.

To make up for not going boating or swimming we went to the 203 pond and swam for a couple hours. The kids had fun catching fish and throwing rocks.

Jana was kind enough to come help me paint.

The weather was so Bi-Polar it was irritating. The wind and rain wouldn't stop! It would be 100 degrees and then a thunder and lightening storm to a wind storm to calm and sunny! Then back to Hail. The wind was so bad the paper kept getting stuck to Jana's face. LOL

But there was one problem couldn't get it to work. Brandyn's friend came over to help! He saved the day! 

The a snake slithered across my foot and I almost had a heart attack, I started screaming and jumping up and down. I am sure it was a funny slight for my neighbors watching. Jana sprayed it white so we could see where it was going. I have been here a year and have never seen a snake. I saw 4 while painting and Karsyn saw one in the back yard.

Dad and Sharon came to visit us for the first time since we moved.

wellness check and eye problem

Had a nerf gun war at cousins house and it ended with dart in Kadyn's eye and him screaming he went blind. When we got home I took him into the doctor. His eye had blood in it. The doctor was concerned about the blood and more could rupture in back of eye and make him go blind. So they put him on steroid eye drops and he was grounded to the couch for 10 days. He wasn't happy at all. We went back a week later and the blood was out of the eye in front but could still have problems. They said cells were still floating in back of eye and the muscle that open and closes the pupil was damaged forever and would always be bigger then the other. kind of scary from just a stupid nerf dart. So moral of the story Wear eye protection always!

if you look close enough at the black pupil you will see how much bigger the right eye is then the left. It is really weird looking.
