I will post again when we actually have our stuff and more stuff has been done. But for now this is what has been done! 

We moved in about 3 weeks ago and have been busy trying to fix up this place. We could not stand orange walls in kitchen so we painted them white. 

 The maroon walls in the living room had to go bye bye! 

same thing with dining room walls 

the bathroom still needs a lot of work but the first thing we did was paint walls 

master bedroom we painted walls and ripped out carpet  

girls room the same thing painted walls and trim and ripped out carpet! 

boys room we painted walls and ripped out carpet but waiting for carpet to be installed 

Mykle was kind enough to drive 4 hours to come help us paint and rip out carpet and pretty much camp while she was here. It took us a solid 4 days to get 3 bedrooms painted, a living and dining room and kitchen. There was stuff we didn't get too, but that's ok that will save it for a different YEAR! lol just kidding. we are tired and exhausted but it is starting to look a lot better. 

The carpet was so nasty and disgusting it had to go! The smell was atrocious when you walked into the house. we think the person living there just let there dog do what it wanted! After it was ripped up the smell disappeared in the upstairs. The stairs going down stairs was also gross so we pulled that up.

really didn't want to die pulling up this carpet so I was prepared! 

we took it to the dump because the smell was also so bad outside in the fresh air. 

Thanks again Mykle you were a life saver. and also thank you to grandparents who watched the kids so we could actually work!
