Time out for woman

Friday before going to T.O.F.W we made a trip to go get some salad dressing

Finally made it

After the meeting we went and got dessert

and went to our hotel room (where we had pillow fights and jumped on the beds)

super windy

 Saturday

on break...

for lunch we ate at an Asian restaurant

getting super smart

We all received a free bag

journal to take notes

Over all the speakers were awesome.

Jenny (daughter of Dallin H oaks): played violin and her 15 year old daughter played the piano
Fiona: SNOOZE (I did like her accent it was delightful)
John: Funny and a great speaker

Mercy River: OK
Michael: interesting
Jen: inspiring has had leukemia 4X

Carol: pregnant with baby #2. Went into ER with phenomena that turned into sepsis. She lost both of her feet, an arm, and went blind in both eyes. She wouldn't change any of it. It brought her back to church.

Emily: Received bad news that her 3 year old had diabetes. The little boy hated her for poking him several times a day. This was the darkest year of her life.

Confession: I went into this with a bad attitude. I felt like everything in my life lately was going to crap. nothing is going as planned. We found out that the offer we put in on a house went to a cash offer instead. We have been looking and looking for a place and nothing is panning out. This house was everything we have been looking for. We had a back up plan that also went to crap. The rental that we were first in line to get from rental agency informed us that the home owner was going to find his own tenants so no longer available to us. It is the worst feeling not knowing what is going to happen. We have to be out of our place May 31st. But...after listening to these incredible ladies who have life threatening illnesses my problems seem so insignificant. I have never had cancer 4X, I have all my limbs and vision, and I don't have to deal with needles. (if you know me needles are a big deal!) So the lesson I took from Time out for woman is be grateful things will turn out how they are suppose too.

Thanks mom for coming with me.
