Karsyn gave the prayer in Primary. He was so excited to do it. 

It was the first sunny day in a long time. So we headed to the park to feed the ducks. Karsyn liked the idea until all the birds were getting a little too close for comfort. He dropped the bread and took off running. 

These are the moments I cherish. It is crazy to think I only have 1.5 years left before he is in Kindergarten. Even though I had a 100 things on my to do list, I just stayed right there. Karsyn never takes naps so this is a big deal! 

Ashlyn has had this cough that won't go away. She has had it for over a month. I called the nurse and told her she isn't sick, no fever, she functions just fine. She said it just needs to run its course. Well I get a phone call Thursday to come and get her for the cough. REALLY??? If my child was ill I wouldn't put her in school. anyways...so I called to see if they had an appointment for same day. They said No Full. I said what about walk in clinic they said over a 2 hour wait. NO THANK YOU, especially if they are sick! So the nurse said it was probably bronchitis, just call in morning and go see on call doctor. So I called right at 8am thinking  I would get an appointment at 9am and then off to school she goes. Oh no not till 2:30pm. So we kept her home again, just so I wouldn't get another phone call to come get my child. Long story short the doctor asked if anything was hurting or if she was feeling sick and the answer was always NO. well I guess like I thought nothing was wrong with her cough, just needed to run its coarse. ANNOYING!!! BUT...She did have 2 ear infections that were horrible and an ear drum that was bursting. So it was good that I brought her in. But if anyone knows Ashlyn she is a drama queen and everything and anything hurts on this child. It is a good day if only one thing hurts. So the doctor is puzzled and we are really puzzled how her ears don't hurt! We thought after she heard about her ear she would come home and be on the ground rolling around crying. But no she hasn't! It is the weirdest thing!

Crazy hair day

Kadyn has been looking forward to this day for months. He has wanted to dye to his hair for a while now. We went to go get his hair cut. and on the counter they had dye stuff. I told him he could for crazy hair day. I asked the lady if it would show up on his hair. she insisted it would. UM...NO! REALLY!!! Kadyn was bummed how it turned out. 

Ashlyn wanted a Mohawk and her hair dyed also. I had never done this type of dye. It was awful, I thought it would go on all nice and smooth and then I could style Ashlyn's hair. OH NO!! I felt really bad how tangled and mangled her hair was. I was ripping her hair trying to put a comb through it. The dye wouldn't go on, it was more like chunks and we were running out of time. YIKES! I will never use this crap again. POOR ASHLYN SHE HAD TO GO TO SCHOOL. 

Adisyn wasn't feeling well last night. SO I put her to bed early and didn't wake her up this morning. She got up with 15 minutes left before bus came. So this wasn't what she wanted, but it was quick and fast. She didn't seem to mind.

The last 2 months have been busy taking Kadyn to Basketball practice and games. The kids are not thrilled about it. 

Karsyn tackling everyone, Ashlyn having an attitude that she has to go...it is so embarrassing I sit 5 rows up away from them all... 

Kadyn has improved a ton. He is starting to steal the ball and take it for a lay up. starting to score. Yes we bribe our kids so make them work harder. Kadyn scored so he received a blizzard. The second game they played they lost 50 plus to 6. Not a good game at all. The second time they played them it was 14 to 23. So not bad. Kadyn was put on the point guard who has mad dribbling and scoring skills. Kadyn stole the ball, made it to where he couldn't score. The kid was getting mad and frustrated.  I was so proud of how hard he worked. 

RANDOM: 

OMG! Ashlyn was in charge of the lesson for family home evening. This girl cracks me up. She chose to have her lesson on word of wisdom, but was more like drinking and drugs. She takes Karsyn's toy cars and puts paw patrol characters inside the car and crashes into another car and the characters go flying. "This is what happens when you get behind the wheel of a car with drugs or alcohol in your body!" Don't do it. that was the lesson!  REALLY!!! then proceeds to move on to the song. Short and sweet. I think she watches to much live PD on television.

Adisyn got dressed for school all by herself. She had dangly earrings on with sun glasses. I told her that it was just too much cuteness for a teacher to handle. She burst into tears. I felt bad, but I just didn't want anyone making fun of her.
