Happy St. Patrick's Day

This year was nice and easy. We just had green milk and Lucky Charms.

I went on a date with this girl. Ashlyn's favorite restaurant as of this year is Panda Express. It was long over due to spend time with just the two of us. So we went to dinner and to the movies.

We went and watched Beauty and the Beast. I loved it. I thought it was magical. I have wanted to watch it ever since I saw a preview. I didn't think it disappointed at all. I thought it was quite funny. Ashlyn wasn't into it as much as I was. She thought it was OK. I didn't think it was a kid movie. A couple kids in the theatre screamed because some parts scared them.

Hair cut and sun

Adisyn has been begging me to cut her hair. She will be in kindergarten in the fall and I wanted her to keep her long hair. But I couldn't take it anymore and made an appointment.

 I think her new hair is adorable on her. She loves it so that is all that matters.

I seriously can't think of when the last sunny day was. We had to go outside and enjoy it, and good thing we did because today was cold and rainy.

Funeral

Today was the day. I have been dreading this day since I found out my grandpa passed away. I love to see everyone, but I know it will be a long time till I see him again. I HATE when the casket closes, because then it is real. That is when the tears start flowing, and I can't stop. Today was a cold day, but the sun was shining. My grandpa was surrounded by a lot of people who loved him. Aunt Janice did a great job on his life. I heard stories that made me laugh and I had never heard before. I am glad he is in heaven reunited with his loved ones.
